first pets
Rebekah is now the proud owner of her first pets, a trio of goldfish named Goldie, Cheeto, and Cheese Puff. Eventually she will have a larger pet, but I am maintaining my stance of no babies and dogs at the same time. I also stand firmly against rodents and birds. I am so not interested in cleaning cages. For now, she is quite pleased with her fish.

Fish are the perfect way to go with little ones. Low maintenance and if one dies there isn't much heartbreak. Well..unless your Rudy on the Cosby Show. Haha. Ok so that may only be funny to me who still loves watching the Cosby's.

Sooz, I still love the Cosby's. I agree that fish are the lowest maintenance pet for kids. Teaches them responsibility without too much fuss. And you can always buy a new one for cheap if they happen to give up the ghost!
Cats aren't bad ;) but I'm sure fish are easier. As for dogs, I don't want one ever, really. but Maybe I'll relent someday.
