Aunt Martha requested ultrasound photos, so here are what we have so far.
This is Little Bit at about 6 weeks gestation. See the big dark spot? Now look for the little smudge in the the dark spot. That's the baby.
This is Little Bit at 11 weeks. Now, it looks like a baby (sort of). L.B. is lying on its back at the bottom of the dark spot. The head is on the right, and there is a faint image of arms and legs. When I had this done, the baby looked like it was running, pumping its little feet and hands as fast as it could. The doctor had trouble getting the measurements because we were both laughing so much.
On November 13 we have another ultrasound at which we will hopefully learn the sex of the baby. Check us out here for an announcement!

Sarah, your post is so interesting because we just found out today that Maburn's sister and brother-in-law are having a girl! Melanie said that her last ultrasound was funny like yours, with the baby pumping her little legs and arms as if she was swimming. It's weird to think that something so small is already making such motions. I think the baby is now 7 ounces.
